The town of Lincoln and the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) are seeking bids from civil contractors to construct a cap to the excavation site left after the removal of an underground oil tank. Oil impacted soil has previously been removed leaving the site ready for a cap.
Construction components are fully described in the project drawings
Sources for the cap fill are:
1.Cuts at the site as shown on the project drawings.
2.3 cubic yard pile in front of the garage, near the cap
3.Approximately 1820 material to be removed and transported from another site owned by the town of Lincoln located at former Woodex facility, 33 Park Avenue Lincoln, Maine.
It is desired to award a contract in early August and complete the cap by November 2025.
