Assessing Update

  • October 1, 2026

🏡 **Town of Lincoln Property Tax & Revaluation Update**

The Town has completed its FY2027 property tax commitment, and the mill rate is 15.20, or $15.20 for every $1,000 of taxable assessed value.

Property valuations were increased 15% across the board to bring local assessments more closely in line with market values reflected in the State’s valuation review.

We understand that an increase in your property’s assessment can raise questions. **A 15% increase in valuation does not automatically mean a 15% increase in your tax bill.** Your bill depends on your taxable assessment, applicable exemptions, and the mill rate.

**Assessing Services & Upcoming Revaluation**
