What Is “Open Forum” at a Town Council Meeting?

At every Lincoln Town Council meeting, we set aside time for Open Forum— this is when Lincoln residents and/or taxpayers have the opportunity to speak directly to the Town Council.
Open Forum is your chance to:
* Share concerns or ideas
* Ask questions
* Offer feedback
* Bring attention to community issues
You do not need to be on the agenda. You simply show up and you’ll be invited to come to the podium and speak when Open Forum begins. The Council Chair may set a time limit on the length of public comment and/or a time limit for individual speakers.
