Pit Road Concessions --- Food You’ll Love in the Fast Lane

Pit Road Concessions is a brand new take-out restaurant with a speed shop theme on West Broadway in Lincoln.  The menu is based on the excellent food that Lincoln residents have always enjoyed at Why Not Stop, Inc., the convenience store and Sunoco® filling station right next door.   

Pit Road’s kitchen prepares all the food for Why Not Stop, and has added a custom sandwich bar, a variety of fresh dough pizzas, and classic grilled burgers and hot dogs to its own menu. Gifford’s Famous Ice Cream will also be available all summer!  Daily specials like mac & cheese, chili, seafood dinners, baked beans and a variety of healthy soups, stews and chowders, will be on the menu,  too. 

Pit Road offers limited seating (12 maximum) with several pub tables in a dining area devoted to the love of Nascar® racing!

The Pit Road crew won’t seat you and serve you like they do at some fancy places, but what they will do is grill you up a delicious meal while you wait, with a generous side of home-made onion rings on the side.  Then they’ll package your food up right, so when you are eating on the go it’ll be no problem.  Pit Road is perfect for business people, too, who would like to carry food back to the office for a working lunch.   

Pit Road’s location, just off 1-95, makes it a natural stop for the weary 1-95 traveler or for those road warriors traveling Route 2.  A paved parking lot big enough for a fleet of pulp trucks is nice, but the owners of Pit Road Concessions have one more pleasant surprise for the traveler---they have paid particular attention to providing large, attractive and especially clean restrooms in this building--- and the Pit Road crew won’t treat the customers like it’s a major imposition to use the restroom!
