The First Congregational Church in Lincoln is sponsoring the Riverdrivers Supper on the banks of the Penobscot River. For 63 years now, people have come from far and wide during Lincoln’s Homecoming Week to meet old friends and new and to enjoy the cool breeze at Ludden's Field, while eating a traditional Maine Supper: bean hole beans.

What: You’re invited to the 61st Annual Riverdrivers Supper

When: Thursday July 15, 2010 between 4 pm to 6 pm

Where: Ludden’s Field by the river. Drive north on Route 2 leaving town center approximately two miles, watch for the supper sign on the left.

What’s Cooking? It’s a real New England Bean hole Bean Dinner. Serving bean hole beans; reflector oven biscuits baked before open fires while you eat; hot dogs, potato salad, coleslaw, reflector oven biscuits, and cookies, cake, brownies and other sweets; and coffee and punch.
